For those meat (and burger) lovers like me, Ellis Gourmet Burger must ring a bell somewhere. They already have locations in most other parts of Flanders, but over the summer they finally opened their Bruges one. I, for one, am not complaining.
I simply love the burger hype (sorry, not sorry) and am only hoping more burger restaurants will open in due time. I was kind of surprised they set up shop in Bruges but after Starbucks arrived, I should’ve known this was coming.
Anyway, just look at that interior: it’s stunning. The location is superb as well, located in the centre of the town, I’m sure everyone will find their way to Ellis Gourmet Burger. And most important of all: their burgers are amazing, and so are their sides. Many burger restaurants mess up the latter one, but not here.
What really amazed me was how great their service is. We had reservations for a group of 25 and they managed to get us our food on time and all at the same time as well. Considering it was in the midst of their opening week, I can only applaud such service.
