If you’re still looking for the perfect 2014 calendar, this post might be something for you. Unless you don’t like pet rabbits, that is.
Every year, the pet rabbit community Bunspace creates a calendar with photos of their members. The process is easy: you buy a ticket (proceeds go to an animal shelter) to upload a certain number of photos. When the upload-period finishes, members can vote for their favorite photos. The photo with most of the votes gets to be on the cover of the calendar. The other photos get their place on one of the monthly collages.
By the end of the summer, I browsed back to Bunspace to see if any of my photos made the calendar and to my surprise I found out that one of the photos I submitted, would be on the cover of the calendar.
I’m extremly proud that my photo will be on display in several households across the globe. The rabbit on the cover is Robby and he lives with my parents. My own boy Joey and the late Jack are also made it to the calendar, they’re part of the February collage. I guess it’s better luck next time for our pet rabbit Hiro and the late Mickey.
If you want to brighten up 2014 by looking at rabbits all year long: the calendar is available for purchase over on the Bunspace store.
