Awards season is in full swing and so is its ever present red carpet fashion. I admit, the first thing I do on post-award Monday mornings is check out the gorgeous gowns that passed by on said red carpet the previous night.

Last night was one of the first big events of the season, the 2015 Golden Globes. Who was talking about gowns earlier? Emma Stone rocked that red carpet in her Lanvin trousers (custom-made). Needless to say, she was my favourite of the night, although I picked out another couple of favourites as well. I’ll be keeping an eye out for these ladies on the next red carpet events.

Allison Williams
This is so Allison Williams (Armani Privé) and it’s also what I love about her. She’s the all-American girl with the perfect gown. Love this look, the red gown makes her look fabulous.

Amy Adams
Powder-blue (Atelier Versace). Another colour that wouldn’t exactly come up in my mind when talking award show gowns, but somehow Amy Adams looks picture perfect in it. Love the hair as well, she really channels that old-Hollywood glamour.

Emma Stone
I simply adore the complete look (Lanvin). I’m more of a trousers girl myself, so I could easily picture myself in this one. Looking forward to her next moves on the red carpet.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Truckloads of yellow on that red carpet, but Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Carolina Herrera) manages to stand out. I really like the subtle yellow hue.

Naomi Watts
And it was all yellow. As mentioned before, lots of yellow on the red carpet and Naomi Watts (Gucci) manages to take this look to a whole other level with that stunning (Bulgari) necklace.

Anna Kendrick
Princess Anna? Kendrick sticks to her signature cinderella dress in this Monique Lhuillier gown. I love me some tulle as well, so I couldn’t leave this one out of the list.

Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes (Marchesa) did go a bit unnoticed on my red carpet radar these past few years, but hello again, miss Holmes. So simple, yet so gorgeous. And that (major!) ponytail adds just the right amount of glamour.

Jessica Chastain
The bronze gown (Atelier Versace) is absolutely perfect with that beautiful hair. I must say, not everyone could pull off this colour, but she does.

Emily Blunt
Cutouts are generally not my thing, but Emily Blunt (Michael Kors) makes me forget about all that. This is cutout done right.

Diane Kruger
I’m not that much of a silver girl, but Diane Kruger (Emilia Wickstead) definitely is. She looks stunning.
