Now that I’ve conquered the germs that got a hold of me last week, I am finally able to write something about our trip to Copenhagen. To celebrate the fact that I hit that milestone (the big 3-0, you know), the hubby and I spent four days in the Danish capital.
It was our first time there and we both loved the city. Many people have asked us which city we’d compare it to, but we haven’t figured it out just yet. Possibly because it’s quite unique. I loved walking around the city and its beautiful parks. We visited quite a few coffee joints and had dinner at a couple of beautiful restaurants, but more on that later. We also met up with an old (online) friend of mine. When we were having coffee with her at Granola, I somehow didn’t feel like I was on vacation, it felt so familiar. I think I could easily live in this city as it offers basically everything I need/want in my proximity.
Just writing about our time in Copenhagen makes me want to go back even more…
come fly with me // torvehallerne kbh // ibsens hotel // vor frue kirke // rundetaarn // granola // oliver and the black circus // shadow play // den lille havfrue // blue x lines // royal danish library // den sorte diamant // bikes everywhere // lego // copenhagen, you were awesome
I’ve been waiting to see photos from your trip! So lovely! Copenhagen is definitely on my travel bucket list. 🙂
Thank you! Look out for upcoming blog posts about a few restaurants and shops we visited during our stay.
