We’re continuing our virtual tour around Bruges this week with Butik. No coffee this time around, but fashion. After all, we do need the perfect wardrobe to sip that cup of coffee, don’t we?

Providing that perfect wardrobe, is exactly what shop owner Ruth Vanden Berghe aims to do and I have to admit: she’s doing a great job! I’m a big fan of Scandinavian fashion and Butik offers but Scandinavian designers.

What started out as a webshop and developed into a pop-up store at Wasbar Ghent, has now grown into a beautiful shop in the center of Bruges. I remember having walked into the property when it was still a bookshop and Ruth designed to keep the grass-like carpet. It gives a really nice touch to the store and makes you feel right at home. The Scandinavian influences are never far away though, just look at the beautiful dressing rooms.

Butik offers a selection of different brands (think By Malene Birger, Selected, Filippa K and Daniel Wellington), for his & her, both apparel & accessories.

I think I know where to stop by for that much coveted FW2014 wardrobe.
