Cycling enthusiasts are on a high these days with the Ronde van Vlaanderen (which is celebrating its 100th birthday later this year) approaching fast. Add to that the birth of a new magazine focused on cycling and you’re good to go. Let me introduce you to Bahamontes, the newest addition on the magazine shelves in Flanders. Think great photography, typography, interviews and quality print, needless to say I was very happy to get my hands on this over the weekend. I’m planning on devouring every single page when I have a couple of days off from work next week.

If the name Bahamontes doesn’t ring a bell: he (full name Federico Bahamontes) is a former road cyclist, born in Spain. He was a talented climber, which lent him the nickname El águila de Toledo (the Eagle of Toledo).
