If there’s one drink I won’t say no to, it’s a good glass of wine. So, when the lovely Stephanie Duval invited me to the latest edition of Apéros Bordeaux, I couldn’t say no.
Apéros Bordeaux could best be described as an after work party hosted by Bordeaux wines at a cool location, for now only in Antwerp & Brussels. The menu offers a selection from the Coups de Coeur 2013 wines which were selected by a jury of wine professionals. The Apéros nights offer you to taste these wines at 3 to 5 euros per glass. Keep in mind that most of these wines are usually offered at over 8 euros per glass, so it’s definitely worth trying if you’re into wine.
The Apéros Bordeaux have a different theme for every edition and Wednesday’s theme was music. The performance by Boogie Boy sure set the tone for a wonderful evening filled with (lots of) wine, catching up with inspiring people and great music.
The next edition of Apéros Bordeaux is this Wednesday in Brussels and the theme for the evening is art. Other dates are set for the summer and fall as well at different locations in Brussels and Antwerp.
