I’m sorry, you guys. I had these two lovebirds’ engagement session lined up, but I just couldn’t wait to share their wedding photos from Santorini. Blame it on the current #boostyourpositivity Instagram challenge #throwbacktosummer. Yes, I’m prone to hashtags like that.

Seriously, when Liesbeth texted me (me!) she had me in mind to shoot her wedding in Santorini, I had to pinch myself. Starting out as a freelance photographer, I could never have dreamed to jet off to a destination wedding during my first year on the job.

Given that it was Liesbeth’s wedding I got to shoot as my first destination wedding, well it actually doesn’t really surprise me. We do make a good team, the two of us! This lady inspires me on a daily basis, working on her webshop, planning and creating exciting collaborations. She does it all. Stay tuned, because she’ll blow you off your socks with what she has planned for the holidays!
When having her and Kristof in front of my camera, well, let’s just say these two are naturals. Of course, after three shoots together, you know how to get this person on camera, but still.
Over the course of three days I was welcomed by them, their family and friends in a way that was so warm that it is still hard to grasp, really.
Doing all of this once again in Belgium later that week, I felt more at ease than I ever could and I think that really adds to the images that I delivered to the happy couple.

I’ll stop rambling for now and let you take a look at those photos. A full Santorini report (heck, I spent the morning there, exploring the town of Imerovigli) is coming your way soon, as well as the photos from these two’s wedding in Belgium.
