.HBC was one of my favorite dining experiences ever so I’m a tad bit sad to learn the restaurant/bar/art space has closed since our 2012 visit. Or maybe that’s the universe trying to tell me to publish blog posts way sooner.
Anyway, I loved the atmosphere, the interior, the view and above all: the food. The most delicious piece of beef I ever had and to think it would taste that good combined with scallop carpaccio…. aaaah! Just thinking about it is, well, mouth-watering.
From what I’ve found online, it has since changed owners and is now called Goldneun Bar & Restaurant. Looking at the photos, the interior hasn’t changed much and if you’re seated by the window, like us, you can still take in the amazing view of Alexanderplatz and its Fernsehturm.
Reading the reviews, I think it’s worth a visit on a next journey to Berlin, soon, I may hope.
