As we plan another visit during the Halloween festivities and Christmas holidays, we decided to purchase annual passes. It does come cheaper as from the second visit onwards, so we didn’t hesitate at all when deciding on this one. It has its perks as well such as free parking and discounts on food and merchandise. Needless to say, we came home with quite a few bags of Disney stuff.
While it was initially the husband’s idea to go to Disneyland I must say I really enjoyed myself. I put on my Minnie ears and was stress-free for two full days. I also conquered my fear of big thrills and joined the husband on each and every ride. My favorite ride was definitely the Aerosmith Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. What a fun ride!
I’m a sucker for photographs so obviously I bought the photos of the rides we went on. They are such fun to watch, you should see our faces, especially Steven’s on Space Mountain 2.
Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to get on the newest ride, Ratatouille, this time around. The waiting time exceeded 150 minutes at one point and fast passes weren’t available so we decided to wait for this one until our next visit.
When walking around the park we made use of the newest Disneyland app. However, it would be nice to have some hot spots around the park because the rates for roaming are still incredibly high. So, please, Disneyland, if you decide to develop an app like this, provide the necessary free wi-fi as well. I’m not talking all around the park, but maybe start with the restaurants and/or shops? I bet a lot more people would make use of this app and I believe that in the end it would help manage the waiting lines for the different rides.

Oohh, superleuke foto’s!! Ik wil ook terug!! Ik denk eraan rond de kerstperiode ook eens te gaan, want het is het enige seizoen dat we nog niet in Disneyland geweest zijn, lijkt me zo mooi!
Die jaarpassen lijken me inderdaad zo geen slecht idee 😉

SO FUN!!! Disneyland Paris is so picturesque and has the most beautiful castle of them all in my opinion. Ratatouille wasn’t open when we were there last year so I can’t wait until you go back again to hear what you think. My favorite ride there that’s not duplicated in the US is probably Crush’s Coaster. Big Thunder is also great because it’s slightly different than the US versions. The annual passes are a good deal — Rob & I have them as well and we definitely make sure to get our money’s worth. 🙂

Nu krijg ik zoveel goesting terug naar Disneyland te gaan! Crush Coaster, de Rock ‘n Roll Coaster en Spacemountain zijn zeker mijn favoriet! Ik vond de studio’s echt een pak rustiger, ben zo benieuwd naar die Ratatouille attractie, duidelijk nog eens een tripje plannen :p
