I finally got round to visit De Vitrine yesterday, a bi-annual fair set in the lovely decor of La Brugeoise in Bruges.
The event was started a couple of years ago by the brains behind Lola Life Lines, a hip & retro webshop, based in Bruges. The first edition had a mere 12 stands, but now hosts over 80 stands ranging from webshops to designers.
I think it’s safe to describe De Vitrine as a real-life Etsy fest mixed with a couple of gift webshops. It’s nice to be able to see and touch the things you usually browse online in real-life.
The best thing about the fair though is that the entrance is free and it’s probably the ideal spot for a business to get recognized.
If you want to take it in yourself: the spring edition of De Vitrine is set for March 22nd and 23rd, 2014.
