When we headed to Berlin, I did some location-scouting beforehand. One of the addresses that showed up was Kaffeemitte, located in, well, Mitte. However, I forgot to write down the address in my city Moleskine…
Surprisingly, Kaffeemitte was located just down the street from our hotel, The Weinmeister. I’m not a big fan of all the sandwiches that taste the same everywhere, but this place was a nice change from all that. I had one of the best lunches here, although it wasn’t that cheap.
I’ve heard they serve delicious dishes and breakfast as well, but unfortunately we didn’t go back there, because we either weren’t in the area or had plans to explore other places.
The fun thing here is that it’s frequented by Berliners, so it’s your ideal spot to do some people-watching. I really loved our location in Mitte and all the great lunch places, such as Kaffeemitte, definitely contribute to that.
