10 jaar VIJF

This past Sunday I found myself in Antwerp at a (very pink!) party for Belgian tv station VIJF (five) as they celebrated their 10th birthday with the most incredible and star-studded birthday bash.

I can’t believe they have been along for ten years already (another sign that I’m really getting old)! They sure earned their spot along the biggest tv stations in the country. VIJF is oriented towards women with a weekly dose of Revenge and envying Olivia Pope’s (Scandal) wardrobe. Other shows that have their spot on the network include Grey’s Anatomy and (my guilty pleasure) Mistresses.
Apart from these American series, they also have a couple of really good in-house productions. I’m thinking make-overs in Zo Man, Zo Vrouw where stylist Jani is helping couples on the style-front or De Huisdokter which is all about restyling your home.

The people at VIJF sure know how to throw a party as we were treated to manicures, a new hairdo, etc… The people of De Cliént worked their magic on my hair and provided me with the most beautiful set of braids ever. After the most delicious cosmopolitan I attended a make-up workshop with VIJF make-up artist Angelique who taught us the dos and don’ts for a basic make-up look.

After devouring a burger, I headed back home with a beautiful goodie bag. Thanks for having me VIJF, I had a blast! Happy Birthday!
