These photos didn’t exactly turn out as I wanted them to (flash light can be a bitch at Christmas). Of course, I only made these at 1am the night before and took the photos right before we dashed off to my parents’ to celebrate Christmas Eve.
However, they should be able to give you an idea about this year’s gift wrapping and maybe they’ll inspire you on future gift wrapping joints.
This year, I worked with kraft paper, masking tape, a mechanical embosser and branches from the hedge in our garden. I try to do something different each year, but it’s hard to keep track of what I’ve done and/or not. From now on, I will be blogging about these every year, so when in doubt I can always go back to my blog.
No, seriously, the gift wrapping is almost as important as the gift itself. I’ll always take care of the package and am ever so happy when receiving one that resembles everything I’ve imagined it would be.
