I think you know by now that I’m a huge Alpro fan. Their products are the one constant thing in my kitchen and I love how I just keep discovering new products in their endless gamut. They have been known for pretty cool social activities as well, which was exactly what I did last Saturday.

Over the weekend, I finally had the chance to try out the Alpronista brunch at M with a View in Ghent. All this in the company of three wonderful ladies/blogger friends.

First, let me talk to you about M with a View: this is a pop-up concept by Coeur Catering (if this doesn’t ring a bell: they are the same people behind pop-up restaurant and bar Gaston). As all pop-up initiatives tend to look for heights nowadays it will come as no surprise that we were taken to a penthouse on top of the old Nieuwe Molens building for our brunch. The view is pretty spectacular as you can see in one of the photos.

Now, back to the Alpronista part. Since mid-July M with a View has been transformed in true Alpronista style: the Alpronista Sky Box was born. From Thursday through Saturday night a menu is served, prepared with all possible things Alpro. At a prix fixe of 40 euros, you’ll be served a four course dinner. Not too shabby if you ask me.
On Saturdays, brunch is served, again with an abundance of Alpro products, this from 10 am until 3pm (perfect for those who already had a wild Friday night, no?). It’s the perfect start to the weekend and the best way to get to know their products, if you haven’t already. At 20 euros, the price for the brunch is quite fair although it is worth mentioning that all drinks are indeed included (which wasn’t communicated to our group so we left the brunch a bit thirsty).
The Alpronista Sky Box is waiting for your visit until August 16th and a quick tip: do bring a jacket when you visit because it can get quite windy up there.
